VMware Launch Event on April 21st – Sponsorship Opportunities Available
As many of you know (or may not know), VMware will be having a “Launch Event“* on Tuesday, April 21st. This is going to be an exciting event where VMware CEO Paul Maritz will be hosting the launch of their next generation virtualization platform.
I was invited by VMware to attend this event, not only as a customer but also as a member of the media. My plan is to cover the event complete with video and then post this to the VMwareTips.com website. Special thanks to NetApp for covering my travel and lodging, luckily for me I will be in Palo Alto that week for SAP Virtualization Week speaking on April 22nd.
This leaves another sponsorship opportunity available. Because I plan on covering the event with video and also plan on doing some video interviews, I would like to purchase a Camcorder with extra batteries and accessories.
If your company would be interested in sponsoring the VMwareTips.com coverage of the VMware Launch Event* please contact me via e-mail at rick [at] vmwaretips [dot] com.
*As soon as VMware publicly announces this event I will be able to discuss the schedule a little more in depth. Being under NDA with VMware I can only tell you so much.
