Western PA VMUG User Conference

It’s with great honor that I accepted a request to speak at the Western PA VMUG User Conference, tomorrow in the Moon Township suburb of Pittsburgh. I’m not only speaking at an EMC focused session, but also an Ask the Experts panel discussion with some other great Virtualization Heavyweights such as Chris Colotti, Alan Renouf, Mike Laverick and Scott Lowe.

If you haven’t registered for the event I strongly suggest you do so and come experience a great day of vLearning and vNetworking with your peers! Registration information can be found here; http://www.vmug.com/p/cm/ld/fid=857. The day is filled with great topics and keynotes, don’t take my word for it though, check out the agenda here; http://www.vmug.com/p/cm/ld/fid=862.
If you’re in the area I hope to see you at the event, be sure to come up and say hi if you see me!

Kansas City VMUG – Tuesday, December 11th, 2012

It’s with great pleasure to let all of my readers know that I’ll be speaking at the Kansas City VMware Users Group on Tuesday, December 11th. It’s with even greater pleasure to announce that I’ll be sharing the same stage as Mr. Steve “Woz” Wozniak! (I have to present right after his keynote, how in the heck will I stay composed?!)

The VMUG will take place at the Overland Park Convention Center, where Wozniak will be opening up the event with an interactive discussion with the Kansas City VMUG Leaders. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to hear from Wozniak on his experiences working with Apple and more recently, Fusion-io.

This is an all-day VMware User Group Conference, so think of it as a mini one-day VMworld event! A number of vRockstars will be in attendance and it’ll definitely be a great time.  I know a few people will be arriving in town early and there will be a Happy Hour on Monday evening. If you live in the Kansas City area, or will be in the area, this is an event you will not want to miss!

There typically isn’t that much activity from the VMUG in this area, so I hope this is the start of something new for the San Diego VMUG.
